![]() ![]() ![]() I've tried about 30 different ones and some of them multiple times and I have not gotten ONE to work. I've been having nothing but problems with 3rd party modules. Well not figured out, but after deleting it and re adding FOUR times it finally worked. I've been struggling hard with ALL the 3rd party modules, thought I ad this one, but incorrect info and dates. So #1, why isn't the calendar showing future events, reminders, etc, and only showing past? #2, Why is it only showing a couple of the old events repeatedly on the wrong days? If you know anything about this I would greatly appreciate the help. from the beginning of the year and not the correct date. and my dogs old vet appt that was monthly for a few months, but again. For ex, my moms bday is July 16, but there is a event showing for Mom's Bday on Jan. So I'm not using MMM-calendar Ext 2, I just watched a video and didn't need it apparently? Anyway, I went into config.js, added another calendar (My google ics calendar, and everything is working and running, however, the events that are showing are all extremely old events, and also, not on the correct dates. Hey Joseph, I'm just looking over your reply here and looks like you know a bit so I have a calendar question. Icon: 'emojione-v1:family-man-woman-boy-boy' ![]() (code moved into a reply because it was over 10k characters and Reddit was like "no, I don't want all that in one post") ) does a better job of interacting with outlook ICS for some reason - but then again I'm not working from home anymore, so showing my work calendar on my home mirror isn't as useful anymore. Hopefully this example helps you get started! Feel free to use it as a jumping off point and make it your own! Here is an excerpt from my config.js just commenting out my secret links so that you don't just randomly have a calendar somewhere with my events on it for some reason :) This post has the best description of where the regions are. Please note this is all done in the config.js you don't need to edit other files unless you want a custom css theme(too much work for me so I don't bother with that) That line tells your mirror what place to put it on. To answer your other question, under view options you want to to pay attention to the You'll put that into the configuration file and everything else will 'just work'įrom there I recommend you read the stuff on this page to get everything set up just the way you want it! You want to get your PRIVATE ics link from your Google calendar settings (search private ics Google calendar if you need a howto on that). No, you won't want to put your user and pw into the configuration file. ![]()
